Howdy!

We're two people who met and fell in love in the PNW. Jeff came from San Diego for graduate school, where he earned a master's degree in Sports Product Management at the University of Oregon (sco ducks!). Kayli came from a small town in Northern California for nursing school and works as a labor and delivery nurse. For Kayli, Oregon was never her end game. She thought she’d end up moving to a mountain town. But over time, she grew to love Portland. 

We named @thecopack after our pups: Jasper and Kobe. When Jeff and Kayli met, Jeff had Kobe and Kayli had Jasper. And together, our blended family became the CoPack. 

We started sharing our life because we wanted to document our travels and the things we love about the PNW. But somewhere along the way we noticed social media can put people in boxes, and we want to challenge that. It seems like there is this unspoken rule that outdoor people need to be living on the road or in a mountain town. However, we built a life that doesn't exactly fit that description. We're outdoorsy but we also like the city. We trail run but like to finish up at local bakeries for treats. When we car camp,  we bring sheets and a duvet cover. Now don't get us wrong, we love to rough it too! Jeff once bike packed the Oregon Outback Gravel route, a 360+ mile self supported ride through some of the most remote areas in Oregon. We really just want to show you that you can be both.
